The Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences (KNAW) in collaboration
with the Institute for Logic, Language and Computation (ILLC) is
organizing a Master Class on "New perspectives on Games and Interaction".
It will be held in the Trippenhuis in Amsterdam on February 8th, 2007.

This Master Class will feature three tutorials by Alexandru Baltag
(Oxford), Giacomo Bonanno (UC Davis), and Wolfgang Thomas (Aachen). The
three tutorial speakers will cover the following topics:

Baltag--	Dynamic Logics for Communication: a study of
 		information-updating and belief-changing actions
Bonanno--	A brief survey of the literature on the epistemic
 		foundations of game theory
Thomas--	Automata Theoretic Foundations of Infinite Games

We are inviting graduate students (PhD students and MSc/MA students) with
a background in logic, mathematics, economics, computer science,
artificial intelligence, linguistics, or philosophy and a strong interest
in games to register for this Master Class.

The tutors will offer reading material on the webpage of the Master Class.
It is expected that participants prepare by reading this material before
the class; at the class, there will be written exercises that have to be
handed in two weeks after the class. The class is worth 1.5 ECTS credit
points. Students of the Universiteit van Amsterdam will be regularly
credited; other students will receive an official transcript from the
ILLC.

There will be a registration page for this Master Class to be found on
this webpage. If you are interested, please register before January 15,
2007 by sending an e-mail with the subject
