Tenure Track or Tenured Position: Philosophy of Language / Philosophical Logic; University of Maryland

Professor (tenure track) or Associate Professor (tenure/tenure track).
AOS: Philosophy of Language; exceptional candidates in Philosophical Logic
will also be considered. AOC: open. Candidates who can add to the
Department's strength in philosophical logic and/or connections with
linguistics may have an advantage. Applicants should clearly indicate the
rank at which they wish to be considered. The Department proposes to fill
at least two of the three lines currently being advertised. Undergraduate
and graduate teaching; usual committee responsibilities. Applications from
women and minorities are actively encouraged. The University of Maryland
is an EO/AAE. Applicants for an Assistant position should send a letter of
application and the usual dossier, containing curriculum vitae, letters of
reference, writing sample and evidence of teaching ability. Applicants for
an Associate position should send a letter of application, curriculum
