Announcement: Aboutlogic video podcast - season 3 started

Dear colleagues,

we are happy to announce that there will be a third season of aboutlogic, a bi-weekly podcast where logic, mathematics, philosophy, and computer science meet. It features conversations with people working in and around the foundations of these subjects.

We have just concluded Season 2. Over the course of the season, we had the pleasure of speaking with:

- Urs Schreiber
- Joel David Hamkins
- Dana Scott
- Emily Riehl
- Bernhard Fisseni & Bernhard Schrder
- Jos A. Prez-Escobar
- Jan von Plato
- Michael Shulman
- Tudor Achim
- Neil Ghani

In addition to our conversations, Season 2 included episodes of aboutlogic: premises, in which we take a closer look at particular topics and debates in and around logic.

We have also just released a recap of Season 2.

You can find all episodes here:

With Season 2 completed, we are now preparing Season 3. We already have a number of conversations planned and look forward to continuing to explore logic, its history and philosophy, and its connections to mathematics, computer science, linguistics, and beyond.

A brief note on funding: Season 1 of aboutlogic was externally funded. Seasons 2 and 3, however, are produced without external funding.

If you enjoy aboutlogic and would like to support the production of Season 3, you can become an Omega or Aleph member of our YouTube channel:

You can also support us via Buy Me a Coffee:

And, of course, subscribing to the channel, listening to the podcast, and sharing it with colleagues and students helps us as well.

We hope you enjoyed Season 2, and we look forward to seeing you again for Season 3 started (October 21) with Giovanni Sambin.

Best regards,
Deniz & Thorsten
