Mini-conference "Scientific Images" (Portland OR, March 2006)

Mini-conference
"Scientific Images"

held in conjunction with the APA Pacific Division Meeting
Portland, Oregon, March 22-26, 2006.

The mini-conference on "Scientific Images" is structured to facilitate
philosophical study of scientific images by pulling together recent lines
of inquiry in epistemology, philosophy of science, philosophy of mind,
logic and aesthetics. A call for papers is posted at

about how to participate as a chair or commentator, please contact Dom
Lopes, the chair of the "Scientific Images" mini-conference's organizing
committee, at dom.lopes@ubc.ca.

Attendance at mini-conferences is included in the regular registration fee
for APA Pacific Division Meetings.

The deadline for submitting colloquium and symposium papers for the Main
Program of the Pacific Division meeting is September 1, 2005. Main program
papers now can be submitted electronically on the APA website at
http://www.apa.udel.edu/apa/ or else by mail to the APA National Office.
