First Call for Papers The Eighth International Conference on Logic, Rationality and Interaction (LORI-VIII) 16-18 October 2021: Xi'an Jiatong University, Xi'an, China Conference Website: http://golori.org/lori2021/ The International Conference on Logic, Rationality and Interaction (LORI) conference series aims at bringing together researchers working on a wide variety of logic-related fields that concern the understanding of rationality and interaction. The series aims at fostering a view of Logic as an interdisciplinary endeavor, and supports the creation of an East-Asian community of interdisciplinary researchers. We are pleased to announce the invited speakers for LORI-VIII: Ulrike Hahn (Birkbeck College London) Wesley Holliday (UC Berkeley) Sara Negri (University of Helsinki) Olivier Roy (University of Bayreuth) Wen-Fang Wang (National Yang Ming University) Katrin Schulz (University of Amsterdam) Jiji Zhang (Lingnan University) We invite submission of contributed papers on any of the broad themes of the LORI series; specific topics of interest include, but are not limited to, formal approaches to: Actions, Plans and Protocols × Agency × Argumentation and Agreement × Belief Revision and Belief Merging × Cognitive modelling × Dynamics of Information Attitudes × Epistemology × Goals and Intentions × Interaction × Knowledge Representation × Learning × Natural Language × Norms and Normative Systems × Philosophical Logic × Preference and Utility × Probability and Uncertainty × Rational Decision Making × Social Choice and Judgement Aggregation × Strategic reasoning and Game theory. Submitted papers should be at most 12 pages long, with one additional page for references, in PDF format following the Springer LNCS style. Please submit your title and abstract by May 14, 2021, and your full paper by May 21, 2021. Submission is via the EasyChair for LORI-VIII. Accepted papers will be collected as a volume in the FoLLi series on Logic, Language and Information, and extended versions of some will later be considered for publication in a special issue of a journal (to be announced). A best student paper award will be given at the conference. Any paper authored by a student (undergraduate or graduate, at the time of submission) will be eligible for this award.
