Postdoctoral Fellowship in Graph Theory (including infinite graph theory): Universitaet Hamburg (Germany)

Postdoctoral Fellowship
in Graph Theory

from 1 July, 2005

Pending the release of approved funds by the relevant authorities, a
postdoctoral fellowship in graph theory will be available at this
university from 1 July, 2005, or by mutual agreement from any date
thereafter. This is a fixed-term appointment for 14 months in the first
instance.

We are looking for very strong candidates in any field of finite or
infinite graph theory, including related areas such as matroids.
Candidates with research interests in neighbouring disciplines such as
logic, topology or probability, are particularly welcome.

The position carries a maximum teaching load of 4 hours (= twice 90min) a
week during term time. This may include the supervision of research or
undergraduate theses, and graduate-level courses close to the candidate's
fields of interest. It may be possible to do this in English.
