1st Call for Papers ******************************************************* *Workshop: Assertion and Proof (WAP 2019)* Lecce (Italy), 12-14 September, 2019 https://sites.google.com/view/assertionproof ******************************************************* *DESCRIPTION* The notion of assertion plays a key inferential role and has a long tradition in logic. It is a key ingredient in most logical systems, either implicitly or explicitly. The idea of assertion thus appears strongly invariant across a range of logical theories, logical methods, and logical notations such as Frege?s *Begriffsschrift*, Heyting?s formalization of intuitionistic logic or Charles S. Peirce?s Existential Graphs just to mention some examples.
