Lectureship in knowledge representation and reasoning, Cardiff (Wales), Deadline: today!

Applications are invited for a Lectureship (Teaching & Research) post in 
the School of Computer Science & Informatics at Cardiff University. This 
is a full-time, open-ended or fixed-term post starting on 1 August 2015 or 
as soon as possible thereafter. You will have the ability and enthusiasm 
to undertake high-quality and high-impact research in areas concerning 
artificial intelligence (knowledge representation and reasoning) and 
deliver high-quality teaching for undergraduate and postgraduate 
programmes in mainstream computing areas.  You will work closely with your 
Head of Group. You will possess a PhD (awarded or submitted) in Computer 
Science or a closely related area.

Informatics which is well resourced and enjoys an international reputation 
for both its teaching and research activities. The School of Computer 
Science & Informatics is located in the Queen?s Buildings complex on

The appointment will be made, dependent on relevant qualifications and 
experience, within the Grade 6 scale, currently £31,342 - £37,394 (grade 
6) or £39,685 - £45,954 (grade 7), per annum.
