One or two lectureships in Philosophy of Mind, Language or Science, Johannesburg (South Africa), Deadline: 12 Jun 2014

The Department of Philosophy at the University of Johannesburg seeks to 
appoint either one or two Lecturers to teach two 3rd year undergraduate 
modules, one in Philosophy of Mind and Language (Term 3, 14 Jul ? 29 Aug), 
the other in Philosophy of Science (Term 4, 8 Sep ? 24 Oct). In addition 
to the stated dates, the applicant will need to be available to mark 
examination scripts in November 2014. The successful applicant will 
develop and deliver the module in collaboration with Prof Alex Broadbent, 
who will retain oversight of the module, and provide guidance where 
necessary. The successful applicant will be expected to deliver lectures, 
mark tests and exams, deal with student queries, and perform other sundry 
duties associated with the role. Applicants must be academically strong, 
and must either have a Masters in Philosophy or be enrolled as a Masters 
student at a university and performing well. Remuneration is around ZAR
