Philogica Prize for Young Scholars (best paper award for the III Colombian Conference on Logic, Epistemology and Philosophy of Science), Deadline: 15 Nov 2013

Philogica Prize for Young Scholars

The Philogica Prize will be awarded to the best paper submitted by a young
scholar to the III Colombian Conference on Logic, Epistemology, and
Philosophy of Science (Bogota, February 14-16, 2014.

Eligibility:
Graduates students from all over the world and scholars who have received
their PhD after December 2011 are eligible. Submitted papers must be
unpublished, but can be under review elsewhere.

Award:
US$500

To be considered for the award:
1. Apply to the conference by sending an abstract (500-1000 words) by
November 15, 2013
2. Accepted abstracts will be announced by December 1st, 2013
3. If your abstract is accepted, send your paper (max 6000 words) by January
15, 2014
4.The winner of the prize will be announced on February 1st, 2014 and the
prize will be awarded during the closing ceremony of the conference.

About the conference:
The conference is a biennial forum for new work in all areas of analytic
philosophy, with special emphasis on logic, epistemology, and the philosophy
of science. The growing participation of philosophers from around the world
allows speakers to present their work to an international audience, and it
provides participants an opportunity to become acquainted with recent
developments in the field. Main speakers include:
