We invite applications for a non-tenure-track assistant professor position
in universal algebra, algebraic logic and related areas beginning Fall
2004.  The position is for an initial two-year term, with the possibility
of a one-year renewal. It is intended for a recent Ph.D. recipient with
demonstrated research potential and a strong commitment to excellence in
teaching. Duties include a very active research program and a 2-2 teaching

the names and addresses of three referees who have agreed to write letters
of recommendation for you. Evaluation of the applications will commence on
