ESMLS XX: European Symposium on Medieval Logic and Semantics, Cambridge (U.K.), June 2014

Dear Colleagues,

It is a great pleasure for me to confirm that the 20th European Symposium
on Medieval Logic and Semantics will take place in Cambridge (UK) in 2014,
as was decided at the last meeting in Geneva. Most probably it will take
place in the second half of June, although we have not yet fixed the exact
dates.

The topic for the meeting is: Theories and Uses of Relations in medieval
logic, grammar and science.

In order to help us in organizing the event, would you possibly let us
have the following pieces of information by the end of the month (January
31, 2013):

1) Do you intend to participate (with or without a paper)?

2) If so, do you intend to give a paper (in which case you should send
your provisional title by May 1st 2013)?

3) Is your institution or a national funding agency likely to be able to
cover the costs of accommodation (partly or in full)?

A second circular will follow in mid-2013 to provide you with further
details and a draft programme. Do not hesitate to contact us if you need
further information.

With all best wishes,

Riccardo Strobino and John Marenbon (Trinity College, Cambridge)
