We are pleased to announce that the Seventeenth Conference Applications of
Logic in Philosophy and Foundations of Mathematics will be held in
Szklarska Por?ba from May 7 to May 11 2012. Traditionally, the organizers
of the conference are Chair of Logic, Wroc?aw University, Institute of
Mathematics and Informatics, Opole University and Institute of Mathematics,
University of Silesia. The event is being held under the patronage of
Polish Association for Logic and Philosophy of Science.

The leading theme of the current issue of the conference is Part-Whole
Theory. It is a pleasure to announce that the list of the invited speakers
of our conference includes Thomas Mormann, University of Basque Country,
Marek Rosiak, University of ?ód?, Peter Simons, Trinity College Dublin.,
Toshiharu Waragai, Tokyo Institute of Technology.

The conference venue is situated in the Sudety Mountains on the
Polish-Czech border at Olimp Hotel in Szklarska Por?ba. The cost of
accommodation (including meals) is from 634 PLN in a double room to 714 PLN
in a single room. The conference fee is 150 PLN. For the payment details,

website. The deadline for registration and the hotel reservation is April
20, 2012.

We encourage everyone interested in logic, and part-whole theory in
particular, to participate in our event. Contributions concerning the
leading theme of the conference and other topics in logic, logical
philosophy, foundations of mathematics and related areas are welcome. The
abstracts of 30-40 minutes talks, not extending one page, should be
submitted via the registration form on the conference website. The deadline
for submissions is April 13, 2012.
