We are pleased to announce an international call for fellowships for the
academic year September 2011 to July 2012 aimed at outstanding researchers.
We are flexible concerning the exact visiting period.

The fellow will be affiliated with the following units at the Ruhr
University Bochum:

The Chair of Philosophy of Language and Cognition at the Department of
Philosophy II

The Center for Mind, Brain and Cognitive Evolution

Applicants must hold a doctoral degree and are expected to work at least on
the level of an associate or advanced assistant professor. They must have an
outstanding publication record in the area of philosophy of mind and
language and/or epistemology with a strong connection to the cognitive and
neuro-sciences. Some familiarity with EEG methods is desirable. The

relevance for the philosophy of mind and language and/or epistemology. For
this purpose (s)he will be given access to a 64-channel high-end EEG system
