PhD Fellowship Scheme in Computational Linguistics, Hong Kong (China), Deadline: 1 Dec 2010

Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme for research on Corpus/Computational 
Linguistics

Established in 2009 by the Hong Kong Research Grants Council (RGC), the 
Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme aims to attract the outstanding students 
in the world to pursue their PhD degree programmes in Hong Kong's 
institutions. The Fellowship provides a monthly stipend of HK$20,000 
(approx. US$2,600) and a conference and research-related travel allowance 
of HK$10,000 (approx. US$1,300) per year for a period of three years. 135 
PhD Fellowships will be awarded in each academic year. Applications 
related to dialogue systems or corpus/computational linguistics research 
are welcome.
