The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at the University of 
Southern Denmark, Odense, invites applicants for faculty positions in 
computational mathematics and computer science. The appointments are expected 
to take effect on 1st February, 2011.

The successful candidates are expected to establish and lead vigorous 
independent research programmes and interact with existing projects at the 
department. We are looking for candidates with an exceptional track record in 
research in one of the following areas:

- Combinatorial optimization methods and efficient algorithms applied to issues 
in the industrial and public sector.
- Numerical mathematics and especially computational differential equations.
- Information systems and knowledge modelling.
