Satellite Conference of the ICM 2010 in Hyderabad (India)

     F I R S T A N N O U N C E M E N T

In the successful tradition of logic satellite meetings at recent ICMs, we
shall hold a satellite conference on mathematical logic and set theory in
India to provide a specialized venue for logicians and set theorists
connected with ICM 2010 in Hyderabad.

The scope of the intended meeting is all of mathematical logic, including
its areas of application (theoretical computer science, algebraic logic
and others) with a special emphasis on set theory.

The meeting will be held in Chennai (formerly Madras), the capital city of
the Indian state of Tamil Nadu, located about 700 km south of Hyderabad
with excellent train and direct flight connections. All participants of
the ICM 2010 are cordially invited to spend a few days in Chennai before
the big congress (Wednesday, 18 August, is reserved for travel between
Chennai and Hyderabad).

A Call for Papers for contributed talks will be sent out around November
2009, but if you are eager to give a talk at this conference, feel free to
