===Fourth Call for Papers===

7th International Conference on Formal Concept Analysis (ICFCA2009)
May 21 - 24, 2009, Darmstadt, Germany

www.icfca2009.h-da.de

Formal Concept Analysis emerged in the 1980's from attempts to
restructure lattice theory to promote better communication between
lattice theorists and potential users of lattice theory. Since then,
Formal Concept Analysis has developed into a growing research field in
its own right with a thriving theoretical community and an increasing
number of applications in information and knowledge processing
including visualization, data mining, analysis and knowledge management.

The conference aims to unify theoretical and applied practitioners
using Formal Concept Analysis drawing from the fields of Mathematics,
Computer and Information Sciences, Software Engineering, as well as
diverse application domains such as Linguistics or Life Sciences.
Other aspects are welcome. Possible topics include:

  * FCA theory
  * Conceptual Knowledge Processing
  * Concept Graphs
  * Lattice Drawing
  * Association Rules
  * Algorithms
  * FCA and Software Engineering
  * Lattice Theory
  * Data Analysis
  * FCA and Data Mining
  * FCA and Logic
  * Philosophical Foundations

==Submission Details==

We call for scientific publications on theory and applications of
Formal Concept Analysis. Papers of up to sixteen pages may be
submitted in the PDF or Postscript format via the submission site
(http://www.irisa.fr/LIS/icfca09/myreview/). For each paper, an
abstract must be submitted by December 1, 2008.
Authors are requested to follow the formatting instructions for the
Springer LNCS style, see http://www.springer.de/comp/lncs/
authors.html. All submissions will be refereed. Accepted papers must
be presented at the conference, therefore at least one author per
paper has to register timely. The conference proceedings will be
published by Springer in the LNCS/LNAI series.
