Special issue of Studia Logica on "Algebra and Probability in Many-Valued Reasoning", Deadline: 1 March 2009

Call for Papers - Special Issue of Studia Logica

"ALGEBRA AND PROBABILITY IN MANY-VALUED REASONING"

Guest editors: IOANA LEUSTEAN and VINCENZO MARRA

1. Aim and Scope
Many-valued reasoning is a well-established domain of investigation
with thriving connections to several areas of logic, mathematics,
philosophy, and computer science. This special issue seeks to gather
contributions that cover recent advances in many-valued reasoning,
with the aim of offering a significant cross-cut of the best current
research in the field. Papers on all algebraic, logical, and
philosophical aspects of many-valued reasoning are welcome.
Contributions concerned with probability theory in a many-valued
logical setting are particularly sought after, as the topic is
currently under intense investigation by several research teams.
Submissions shall be refereed according to the usual standards of the
journal.

2. Submission Guidelines
Submitted papers should not exceed 25 pages in print, and should
preferably be formatted according to the Studia Logica LATEX style file
available at

http://www.studialogica.org/authorsinfo.html

Electronic submissions only will be accepted. Please send an email to
the guest editors, attaching a .pdf or .ps file of your paper. The
LATEX source files are only needed upon acceptance.

3. Related Conference
A related international conference on Algebra and Probability in
Many-valued Logics shall be held at Darmstadt University from the 7th
to the 9th of May, 2009. For details, please visit the conference web
page at
