WELLESLEY COLLEGE, Wellesley, MA.

The Department of Philosophy at Wellesley College invites applications for two 
one-year, part-time replacement positions, both at the rank of Assistant 
Professor and both with benefits. One position is for four courses (.8 time, 
two courses each semester) teaching philosophy of science, epistemology, logic, 
and an introductory M&E course. The second position is three courses (.6 time): 
a course in ancient Greek philosophy and an introductory ethics course in the 
fall, and a seminar in ancient Greek philosophy (including medieval philosophy 
at the instructor's option) in the spring. The salary for the four course 
position is approximately $44,000 plus benefits, and for the three course 
position, approximately $33,000 plus benefits. Applications must be sent by

describing the candidate's teaching areas, a complete CV, graduate transcripts, 
a writing sample, three letters of recommendation, and evidence of teaching
