BOISE EXTRAVAGANZA IN SET THEORY
 			     Announcement 2
               Friday, March 28 - Sunday, March 30, 2008

This is the second and last announcement of the seventeenth BEST 
conference.  There will be four talks by invited speakers:

Tetsuya Ishiu (Miami University, Ohio)
Bart Kasterman (University of Wisconsin, Madison)
Menachem Kojman (Ben Gurion University, Israel)
Elzbieta Pol (University of Warsaw, Poland)

If you wish to participate and have not already contacted us, please 
contact us as soon as possible.  See below for the deadline for hotel 
reservations.  All people receiving this e-mail will remain on the mailing 
list for future BEST conferences.

The talks will be held on Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the Department of 
Mathematics, Boise State University.

LODGING: The Hampton Inn & Suites Boise/Downtown (1-800-426-7866) is 
keeping a number of rooms for participants of BEST 17 at a special daily 
rate (for dates March 27 - March 30). Check-in time is after 3:00 pm, and 
check-out time before 12:00 noon. Complimentary amenities include: hot 
breakfast, wireless high-speed internet, and airport shuttle service 
between Boise Airport and the hotel. Please make reservations by March 6, 
2008. Reservations received after March 6 will be provided on a space 
available basis, at prevailing rates. Individual call-in reservations must 
be guaranteed by a credit card.  Cancellations must occur by 6:00 pm, 
March 27, 2008.

FINANCIAL SUPPORT: Limited travel support is available for participants. 
Graduate students and young researchers will be given priority. When 
determining the level of support, we may take into account whether the 
participant contributed a talk. In order to apply, e-mail one of the 
organizers. Graduate student applications must be supported by a separate 
e-mail from their thesis advisor.

The conference is supported by a grant from the National Science 
Foundation, whose assistance is gratefully acknowledged.
