Postdoctoral Fellow Positions

Applications are invited for postdoctoral fellow positions in the areas of
quantum algorithms, complexity, and information theory. One or two year
appointments are possible, and the starting date is flexible.  A PhD in
computer science, mathematics, or theoretical physics is required for the
appointment.

In addition to joining the Computer Science Department, appointees will
join the University of Calgary's Institute for Quantum Information
Science.  Please refer to the institute web page (http://www.iqis.org/)
for further information on the current members of the institute and their
research activities.

Applicants are requested to send a cover letter, including the names and
contact details for at least three references, as well as a curriculum
vitae (in postscript or PDF format) to

Applicants should also feel free to include with their application up to
two papers representative of their research accomplishments.

Applications received before September 1, 2005 will receive full
consideration -- those received after this date will be considered only so
long as the positions remain unfilled.
