Tenured Position in Cognitive Science / Philosophy (Yale University)

The Philosophy Department and the Program in Cognitive Science at Yale 
University intend to appoint a philosopher working at the interface 
between philosophy and cognitive science and who is deeply familiar with 
empirical research relevant to cognitive science to a tenured position 
beginning July 1, 2006.

We would be eager to consider candidates who work in a variety of 
fields--such as philosophy of mind, philosophy of language, ethics, 
philosophy of science, epistemology, and philosophy of art, and who bring 
these fields to bear on cognitive science.

Applications and nominations are invited from scholars with recognized 
achievement in scholarship, intellectual leadership, and undergraduate and 
graduate teaching.
